"The UK's largest outdoor market" is held on North Weald Airfield, Merlin Way, Near Epping. Open on Saturdays and Bank holidays in the summer months 9am-4pm. Largest of its type in Britain. Free car parking for thousands of cars plus a subsidised bus services. Highly successful with over 30,000 visitors a week. Regional brown tourist signs from M11, junction 7.



To mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee the late May bank holiday has been moved to Monday 4 June 2012 and there's an additional Jubilee bank holiday on Tuesday 5 June. Sounds like a great idea for a celebration - so what have you got planned for the Jubilee weekend? Thame Market are holding a Fun Day, Portobello and Goldbourne Market are holding a tea party...
The first in a series of monthly night markets was held in Barker’s Pool, Sheffield on 11th April. The market features around 30 stalls and the emphasis is on local arts and crafts which have been made or manufactured by a Sheffield person plus food and drink stalls including some selling ice cream, chocolate and biscuits. Some shops are also staying open late into the evening.
