Probably the biggest market in the world, Portobello Road Market has around 1,500 stalls which extend for about 2 miles between Notting Hill Gate and Ladbroke Grove. The antiques stalls are mainly located at the Notting Hill Gate end of the market on a Saturday and the vintage clothes stalls can be found throughout the market.  There's a fantastic range of fresh food available in addition to fruit and veg, including fish, bread and cheese. You'll also find second-hand records, new goods, the choice is endless.  A visit to Portobello Road Market is a must whether you're a tourist, visitor or local looking for a bargain!

Innovative night markets launchd

night markets for sheffieldThe first in a series of monthly night markets was held in Barker’s Pool, Sheffield on 11th April. The market features around 30 stalls and the emphasis is on local arts and crafts which have been made or manufactured by a Sheffield person plus food and drink stalls including some selling ice cream, chocolate and biscuits. Some shops are also staying open late into the evening.
