There's been a market at Greenwich since the 14th century. Today the market sells mainly arts and crafts and is a great community for designers and creative people. 150 stalls sell beautiful items including funky jewellery, art, stationery, fashion, bags, mirrors, books, records, homeware and antiques. There's also a "food to go" area and fresh food section.
Open daily 9.30am to 5.30pm. Wednesday is a food and homewares market day, Thursdays and Fridays for antiques, collectables, arts and crafts. Weekends and Bank Holidays attract arts & crafts and food stalls. There are a wide selection of specialist shops, bars, restaurants and a café, all open seven days a week.
Greenwich Market is located in Church Rd, Greenwich, SE10 9HZ. Just around the corner in Stockwell Road is the antiques hall which stocks everything from furniture and bric-a-brac to second-hand period clothing.
